LPT920 is a high-strength hot melt rubber repair agent, consisting of three components: main adhesive (hot melt particles), treatment agent (A/B component), and primer, which is used in conjunction with LPT920 hot melt adhesive gun. It is mainly used for the repair of conveyor belt tearing, perforation and edge breakage.

Use Method:

1、Pre-heat the glue gun

Turn on the glue gun heating switch to set the temperature 260 ℃, preheat for 30 minutes and then turn on the motor switch to clean up the residual glue inside the glue gun by yourself.

2、Sanding

The broken edge of the conveyor belt will be trimmed with a knife at an oblique angle of about 30°, and the broken rubber surface of the conveyor belt will be polished and roughened with a tungsten steel sanding disk, and care will be taken to prevent polishing or scorching when sanding.

3、Cleaning and activation

According to the proportion of LPT920 treatment agent B (powder) poured into the treatment agent A and stir to fully dissolve, and then evenly coated in the treated rubber surface, cleaning and activation, natural drying for 10 minutes (temperature 25 ℃, humidity 60%) or more, the ambient temperature should be lower to prolong the drying time or hot air gun blow dry.

4、Painting primer

In the dry rubber surface evenly coated with a LPT920 primer, natural drying 15 minutes (temperature 25 ℃, humidity 60%) or more, the ambient temperature should be lower to extend the drying time or hot air gun blow dry.

5、Scraping glue

LPT920 hot melt particles evenly poured into the barrel of the preheated glue gun has been heated and melted, with a scraper to the glue gun extruded glue quickly coated in the repair, and scrape the flat; such as the repair area is larger, should be from the damage around the middle of the hot melt glue coated.

6、Fixing

Repair surface of the local unevenness can be heated by hot air gun for repair, to be the natural cooling of the repair agent to room temperature can be run.

 

Precautions:

1, hot melt glue gun must be preheated 30 minutes in advance.

2, before adding hot melt particles should open the glue gun motor operation switch, run the glue gun to remove the internal residual patching agent.

3、Adjust the feeding amount or heating temperature according to the state of patch extrusion.

a, the glue gun extruded patching agent viscosity is high, not easy to scrape, should reduce the amount of feed.

b, glue gun extruded patch viscosity is low, affecting the adhesive strength, should be temporarily turned off the heating switch.

4, should be evenly charged to prevent blocking the feed port.

5, sealed, dry conditions for storage.

6、The construction place must be well ventilated.
