Uses:

LPT1205 adhesive, can be used as a single-coat adhesive bonding part of nitrile rubber to metal, can be used as a primer adhesive for bonding various metals, plastics and rubber. It can be used in conjunction with top coating adhesive LPT1220 and other adhesives to increase bonding and environmental resistance.

Method of use:

A) Surface treatment: degreasing after mechanical treatment (sandblasting) of metal, or chemical treatment to remove processed oil, rust or other oxidized layer. Use steel sand (beads) to spray ordinary steel, cast iron and other ferromagnetic metals, surface treatment can be parked time should be controlled in the reappearance of oxidation before rust; quartz sand spray stainless steel, aluminum, brass, zinc and other non-ferromagnetic metals, and in the surface treatment must be completed within 90 minutes of the application of glue.

B) Stirring: It must be stirred well before use to achieve a uniform mixture before use.

C)Applying method:Brush or roller coating method, usually set the dry film thickness at 5.1~10.2μm, apply the treatment agent evenly on the treated metal surface, dry naturally at room temperature for 60 minutes, if there are conditions, heat it up appropriately for better effect.

D) Parking: If the coated parts are properly stored, isolated from dust, oil and water vapor and other influences, the longest even can be parked for a month.

E) Vulcanization: When the coated part is placed in the hot mold, it should be quickly filled with rubber and the mold should be closed to prevent the adhesive from failing due to pre-curing to ensure that the adhesive and rubber are vulcanized at the same time and to obtain the best bonding performance.

F) Curing conditions: consistent with the vulcanization time of the adhesive.

Storage Method and Shelf Life

Cover the box tightly and store in a cool, dry place, with a shelf life of 12 months in the original packaging state.

 

Precautions

a) Avoid bonding at temperatures below 15℃ and humidity greater than 90%.

b) Ensure that the rubber surface is dry and free from moisture before applying the treatment.

c) Avoid contact with skin and eyes before curing. If splashing into the eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek medical attention.

d) This product is flammable, please according to the flammable storage and transportation, and do not meet open flame.

e) The construction place must be well ventilated.

f) Keep away from children.
