Use
LPT213 rubber-to-metal adhesive is a single-coat, heat-vulcanized adhesive for bonding thermoplastic, cast-in, and reaction-injection molded polyurethane elastomers to metal or other rigid substrates. It can be achieved including different hardness polyether type or polyester type cast polyurethane and metal bonding. A higher bond strength can be produced than the polyurethane tears by itself. When bonding reaction injection molded polyurethane to metals such as aluminum or steel, priming and pre-baking are not required.
 
Features
1, solvent-based, no precipitation, use without stirring, especially suitable for dipping and brushing, and fast drying.
2, can complete a variety of polyether type or polyester type and reaction injection model polyurethane bonding.
3. When LPT219 is used as the primer adhesive to form a double coating system, the adhesive can obtain water resistance, salt spray, various solvents and other harsh environmental properties, and achieve better bonding effect.

Process
1 Surface treatment: degreasing after mechanical treatment (sandblasting), or chemical treatment to remove processing oil, rust or other oxide layer. Use steel sand (beads) to spray ordinary steel, cast iron and other ferromagnetic metals, and the storage time after surface treatment should be controlled before oxidation and rust again; Use quartz sand to spray stainless steel, aluminum, brass, zinc and other non-ferromagnetic metals, and glue must be completed within 90 minutes after surface treatment.
2 Stirring: No need to stir, but if you add diluent, stir thoroughly.
3 glue: brush coating method, dipping method and spraying method for glue. Do not apply glue directly on the substrate with a temperature higher than 82°C to avoid bubbles.
4 Dilution: For brushing or dipping, press adhesive: thinner = 4:1 (volume ratio), and for spraying, press adhesive: thinner = 1:1 (volume ratio).
5 glue thickness: (dry film) 19~32 m. If the brushing or dipping method is improper, the adhesion of the part where the dry film is too thick will decrease.
6 Drying: After gluing, dry at room temperature for at least 45-60 minutes. Before pouring or injection molding, the glued parts are pre-cured at 120 ℃ for at least 2 hours, and then pressure vulcanized immediately after taking out. For large metal parts such as rubber roller core, according to the size of the 120 ℃ pre-curing can be extended to 4-8 hours after the immediate vulcanization.
Storage methods and shelf life
Store in a cool and ventilated place at 25 ℃. Under unopened conditions, the product can normally be guaranteed for 12 months. If the product exceeds the valid period, quality inspection and bonding test shall be carried out. In addition, it is recommended to use up the remaining glue as soon as possible after unsealed use. We have suitable packages: 1kg/can, 3.0kg/can and 15kg/barrel. Please purchase according to the production plan.

Precautions
1, before curing should try to avoid contact with the skin, eyes, if accidentally splashed into the eye, should quickly rinse with plenty of water and seek medical treatment.
2. This product is flammable, please store and transport it according to flammable, and do not encounter open flame.
3. The construction site must be well ventilated.
4) Stay away from children.
